The Ondo State Police Command has brought three suspects to court for a range of criminal activities, including resisting arrest, obstruction, assault on police officers, abduction of a police officer, and reckless driving. In a recent statement on Saturday signed by DSP Abayomi Jimoh, the Ondo State Police Public Relations Officer, the suspects, Olopade Abraham, Emmanuel Taiwo, and Adeyanju Tolutope, were apprehended for breaking various traffic laws in the state. Commissioner of Police (CP) Adebowale Lawal emphasized that the swift arrests showcase the Command’s commitment to upholding traffic laws and ensuring the safety of all road users. The statement highlighted incidents involving the suspects disobeying traffic regulations and endangering traffic wardens, leading to their apprehension by the police. The Command appreciated the professionalism of the officers involved and reiterated its strict stance against traffic violations and any form of assault or obstruction towards law enforcement officers. The CP urged the public to adhere to traffic rules and follow lawful commands from the police to avoid facing consequences under the law.
