Inspection of activities and summer courses in At-Tawilah district, Al-Mahwit

Mahwit – Saba:

Al-Mahwit Deputy Governor Hussein Arkad yesterday inspected summer activities and courses in At-Tawilah district.

Accompanied by the director of the governorate’s water resources department, Ayash Al-Talbi, and the director of public works and roads, engineer Yahya Al-Qadi, Mr. Arkad reviewed the educational, cultural and sports programs of the Al-Zahra, Al-Wahda and Grand Mosque centers.

They listened to the explanations of those responsible for the summer courses concerning the level of participation and discipline, as well as the efforts made to develop the skills of the students, boys and girls, by providing them with useful knowledge and know-how. This helps to perfect their skills and build their character, thus making it possible to optimize the time of children and young people and develop their skills in a stimulating and safe educational environment.

During his visit, the vice governor highlighted the importance of summer programs to protect children and youth from erroneous ideas and cultures, strengthen their religious identity and form a conscious, enlightened and insightful generation.

He noted that summer programs represent a valuable opportunity to use students’ free time in an enriching and socially beneficial way. He reaffirmed the commitment of the authorities of the governorate to support these activities and to overcome the obstacles they may encounter in order to improve their results.

Mr. Arkadh praised the efforts of the educational and administrative staff which enabled the success of the programs and their dedication to training a generation equipped with knowledge and values. He called for redoubling efforts and strengthening coordination to ensure the achievement of the objectives set by these programs.
