The Congolese Major Works Agency (ACGT) handed over to the focal point of the Presidency of the Republic, Saturday April 11 in Mbandaka, the construction project for the University of Mbandaka (UNIMBA). This project thus passes from the domain of ACGT, until then awarded to the company Hawa Limited, to the company Congo Civil Engineering SARLU.
The transfer ceremony took place between the deputy general director of the ACGT, Claude Mido, and the principal advisor to the Presidency of the Republic, David Mukeba.
Reallocation of funds
On this occasion, Jean Claude Mido assured that a reallocation of funds initially allocated would be made for the benefit of the construction of the provincial assembly building, as well as other priority projects.
These projects will be identified by ACGT/Grand Équateur, in collaboration with the provincial government.
This project is part of the program aimed at providing all provinces with universities meeting international standards, like the projects underway in Kananga, Mbuji-Mayi, Kinshasa and Bunia, recalled David Mukeba.
