Laura Smet, the daughter of Johnny and Nathalie Baye, will be making her return to the small screen in the highly anticipated series “The White Lotus,” season 4, set in the south of France.
After her roles in the series “Fauda” and “Surfaces,” Laura Smet has just joined the star-studded cast of the upcoming season of “The White Lotus.” In early March, the list of French actors set to appear in the next season of the HBO show was revealed, much to the delight of fans. Among them were Vincent Cassel, Corentin Fila, and Nadia Tereszkiewicz.
But on March 29th, the official Instagram account of “The White Lotus” made new revelations, announcing an expanded cast: former model turned actress and producer Heather Graham, American Rosie Perez, Swedish Frida Gustavsson, Norwegian Tobias Santelmann, New Yorker Ben Schnetzer, and French actress Laura Smet are now part of the show for a season that promises to be full of color.
While no information has been released yet about Laura Smet’s role, her participation in the fourth season of the series has already thrilled her fans.
“The White Lotus” but with a French touch
Following the huge success of the third season of the series, launched in February 2025, the show had already almost traveled around the world: Hawaii, Italy, Thailand. For the fourth season, it will be set in France, on the French Riviera, in Saint-Tropez, at the Château de la Messardière, a luxurious five-star hotel where the ultra-rich vacationers of the upcoming episodes will stay. Filming is expected to start at the end of April and continue until October.
For Laura Smet, Saint-Tropez holds special memories: on board the Wild Eagle II, Johnny Hallyday’s legendary boat, the father and daughter enjoyed sea getaways. A memorable experience for the mother of Léo, which will likely be rekindled during the filming of “The White Lotus.”
