Britney Spears has entered a substance abuse treatment facility following her arrest on suspicion of DUI
LOS ANGELES (AP) – Britney Spears has voluntarily checked herself into a substance abuse treatment facility. The 44-year-old pop star was arrested over a month ago on suspicion of driving under the influence after California Highway Patrol officers received reports of her erratic driving. Spears took field sobriety tests and was released from county jail hours later. The case has been passed onto the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office.
Charges are pending as the investigation continues.
