During the In Cyber Forum, held in Lille from March 31 to April 2, the Roubais-based company OVHcloud, announces the acceleration of its activities in Defense in Europe. This dynamic is part of a context of increased digitalization of armies and persistent dependence on non-European technologies. European armies are facing digitization of operations, real-time processing, system interconnection, and the arrival of AI. Data and cybersecurity must be strengthened.

Already present in the Defense sector, the company is expanding its solutions by relying on its internal expertise and deploying dedicated teams in each country, with the recruitment of profiles from the armed forces and the defense industry. These profiles will have to design adapted architectures, support the modernization of infrastructures, integrate AI capacities (fine-tuning, agentics), and meet the specific requirements of each environment.

“Defense now depends on the cloud, data, and AI. Europe can no longer afford to rely on non-European technologies: it must have efficient and sovereign alternatives. This is precisely what we are building at OVHcloud. After France, we will offer cloud and AI solutions on a European scale, as well as expertise capable of supporting the transformation of armies and strengthening our strategic autonomy,” explains Octave Klaba, CEO of OVHcloud.
