The “takeaway” evening organized by L’Hameçon brandanais and the Women’s Gym was a great success on Saturday March 28 in Saint-Brandan.
From 5 a.m., Chantal and Thierry Bouhier were in the kitchen to prepare a generous beef carbonade accompanied by potatoes. In the afternoon, volunteers from the two associations took over to make no less than 470 trays, all reserved. The event made it possible to raise valuable funds for the future activities of the two associations.
Fishing competition on Friday May 8
The shared recipe from this operation will allow L’Hameçon brandanais to calmly approach the organization of its fishing competition scheduled for Friday May 8. On this occasion, the private lake of La Jaloussée will be stocked the day before with 100 kg of rainbow trout. The competition, focused on the best catch, will offer 80 places. Registrations will be taken from 8 a.m., subject to a daily commitment of €10. A change of location is planned at mid-day to ensure fairness between participants. A refreshment bar and light meals will also be offered throughout the day.
