He spent less than three minutes under the snow, thanks to the speed of his own customers. A mountain guide was caught in a avalanche Tuesday morning near the Presset refuge, in La Plagne-Tarentaise, in Savoie. His clients pulled him out of the snow before help arrived, reports «Le Dauphiné Libéré».
Immediately after the slide, the members of his group extracted him from the snow and brought him back to the shelter, report the police. The civil security helicopter then flew to the refuge to take care of the thirty-year-old. Shocked but alive, he was transported to the Annecy Hospital Center to be examined.
