New films and series to watch on Netflix from April 3 to 9, 2026

Ça change you tuxedo

What is this about? Robinson Crusoe leaves Scotland to escape the consequences of the accidental murder of his best friend, but a shipwreck sends him stranded on an island populated by natives with whom he will have to learn to live differently.

Why should you watch it? In theory, we know very well that Pierce Brosnan deserves nothing less than James Bond. But in practice, it’s not always that simple. However, during his heyday, the British actor played roles of all kinds. In 1997, he performed this mythical character of literature who is Robinson Crusoéin an adaptation of Daniel Defoe’s novel by Rod Hardy and George T. Miller.

Going from clean gentleman to shaggy castaway throughout this adventure as beautiful as it is cruel, Brosnan takes the opportunity to explore, in his game, des extrêmes que les films 007 were not likely to offer him. At his side, William Takaku plays Friday, the character who will profoundly transform Crusoe’s relationship with foreigners. Attention fans of majestic galleons, storms at sea, trials of survival in the jungle and Pierce Brosnan left.

The famous Round Table

What is this about? Victims of violent theft meet perpetrators convicted of these same crimes, in order to dialogue within the framework of Restorative Justice. These difficult exchanges are supervised by professionals and volunteers.

Why you need to see it ? Because it’s one of the best French films of recent years, and one of the most heartbreaking. Considering the pitch, I will always see your faces could be a tear-jerker, but it is on the contrarya subtle film in the way it approaches its delicate subjectwithout blind naivety or reproachful a priori. The director and screenwriter, Jeanne Herry, opts for a summary, even minimalist staging, leaving the spotlight to her actors, letting the silences, the looks, the hesitations, the sobs in the voice guide the narration.

And then, we have to stop at the casting: Leïla Bekhti, Élodie Bouchez, Jean-Pierre Darroussin, Adèle Exarchopoulos, Dali Bensallah, Miou-Miou, Raphaël Quenard, Gilles Lellouche, Denis Podalydès and even Fred Testot.

On the way to the Moon

What is this about? The Apollo 13 spacecraft en route to the Moon experienced a major accident when one of its oxygen tanks exploded in the 55th hour of the flight and 205,000 miles from Earth. A rescue mission begins

Why should you watch it? If you are passionate about space and you were in front of your screen to follow the takeoff of Artemis 2 towards the Moon, Apollo 13 is obviously unmissable. Not necessarily for the direction of Ron Howard, who once again delivers beautiful, effective work but without much virtuosity, but rather for its thrilling plot and obviously taken from a true story. The Apollo 13 mission is indeed the one known for its famous « Houston, on a un problème ? ».

And if you follow the flight of Artemis 2 towards the far side of the Moon, you will be delighted to experience the “imminent danger of death” version experienced by astronauts Jim Lovell (Tom Hanks), Jack Swigert (Kevin Bacon) and Fred Haise (Bill Paxton) in April 1970, almost 56 years ago to the day.

Bandits in Bandi?

What is this about? Following the death of their mother, their pillar and their benchmark, eleven brothers and sisters aged 7 to 23 struggle to remain united in the face of adversity. For some, drug trafficking seems to be the only way out. This choice, far from being unanimous, highlights puts the strength of family ties to the test.

Why should you watch it? Because it’s the new series by Eric Rochant (The Legends Office), accompanied this time by his daughter Capucine. While taking the form of a Martinican family saga filmed mainly on location and with local actors (mostly non-professional), Rochant reunites with Others the relationship with the double and the lie which shaped the rest of his filmography.

Obviously, the ambition of certain members of this brotherhood on the drug trafficking side will go wrong, and promises issues and situations that will quickly get out of control.
