Which attraction will be yours? There spring rides fair is back in Lille! For a month, the fairgrounds settle on the Champ-de-Mars esplanade for young and old. Here is what you need to know before this 2026 edition.
Many activities and dates to remember
To begin, note the dates of this spring fair… du 4Â avril au 3Â mai 2026with an opening at 2 p.m. on the first day. The inauguration is scheduled for 5 p.m. The queen of the fair, majorettes, a brass band and the traditional giants will animate this first Saturday. Several dates should then be noted:
- Saturday April 4: “1 ride bought, 1 ride free” operation, by presenting printed coupons, to be found here.
- Monday April 6: distribution of Easter eggs to children by giant rabbits from 3 p.m.
- Sunday April 19: parade of giants and fanfare from 3 p.m.
- Wednesday April 29: “1 round bought, 1 round free” operation, by presenting printed coupons, to be found here.
As for schedules, the fair will be open from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. weekdaysi.e. Monday to Thursday. It will close at 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday evenings. On Sunday, it will be accessible from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m., just like on public holidays, with the exception of Thursday May 1 when the lights will go out at 1 a.m.
What new rides to find?
Food stands and attractions of all kinds will still meet in Lille. Some new features are planned. For thrill seekers, a new ghost train will settle down. Three stories high, the Ghost Hotel will replace the Horror Spuk.
Several laughter palaces will cause stunts of all kinds. Among them, Villa Chaos, on two floors, owned by the same family which owned the Sphinx, promises “ a great aquatic course strewn with pitfalls…”.
For summer fair regulars, it will now be possible to get laid also in spring…! Katapult disembarks to expel its passengers 60 mothers of haut ! And this is not the only concept already known at the fair but which is evolving, since the giant Magic Gliss slide has changed owners. Now it’s time for a real race! The fastest person will get a ticket to go back! Finally, as in summer, logs will cool those who wish with Euro Splash.
More or less new rides to which will be added new features on certain game or food stands. Some attractions have also been modernized or improved.
Parking, toilets, vending machines… Practical information
Where to withdraw money? Will there be free toilets? We give you some practical information to know. Firstly with parking. The city directs visitors to the Petit Paradis (€1.20 per hour) and Liberté (€1.60 per hour) paid car parks where 750 spaces are available. It is also possible to come by public transport via metro line 1 or by bus, via line 5, direction “Haubourdin le parc”, getting off at the “Champ de Mars” stop.
To withdraw money, two ATMs will be available at the fair: one “next to the Ghost Hotel”, the other “behind the confectionery located opposite the Ferris wheel”. Finally, free toilets will be made available by the city “next to the Palais du Rire”.
