Charles Doré is currently on tour to defend his first album “à l’équilibre”. After reaching the semi-finals of the “Star Academy” promotion of 2024, the young singer is leading a successful career driven by titles that resemble him such as “Hypersensible” or “Famille ou pas famille”. An inspiring journey on which the artist came to confide in the program “It begins today”, broadcast on France 2. In front of the other guests, including Lénie, also from the “Star Academy”, and the host Faustine Bollaert, Charles Doré then returned to the grueling castings that he had to go through before to integrate the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys.
“I was a little stung”
The start of the adventure was not easy for Charles Doré, who had difficulty demonstrating his vocal abilities during the bonuses. HAS” I didn’t understand what was happening » confides the singer while his parents were worried about him, which didn’t help matters. After a few weeks, the pressure begins to intensify… “ There is someone who comes to the castle and says to me: “Charles, if you continue like this, you no longer have your place here.” And then you end up saying to yourself: “Okay, well okay” » says the interpreter of “I’m leaving but I’m staying”, who nevertheless recognizes: ” I was a little stung but it was good, I needed this thing too ».
Feeling that the situation was getting out of hand and that he could leave the “Star Academy” at any time, Charles Doré reacted and was able to count on strong support: “ There was this relationship with Sofia Morgavi who helped me a lot, the singing teacher with whom we had a little private lesson and that unlocked something for me. It was the first time I cried in the adventure too. Sofia doesn’t have her tongue in her pocket, she bumped into me a little and then I broke down. It really did me good HAS”. Thanks to this click, the latter was able to perfect his voice, making him one of the favorites… who could also have participated in season 15 of “Dancing with the Stars”!
