“It’s a human adventure”: 1,000 people expected in Maine-et-Loire to walk and run against cancer | West France

This event is more than a run or a walk. It’s a human adventure. The words posed by Après l’Envol are powerful. Since 2018, the association has organized Courir après l’Envol, a charity event whose profits are used to supporting people affected by cancer.

1 000 participants attendus

An atypical run and walk, where participants find themselves crossing businesses in the Cormier area, in Cholet (Maine-et-Loire). Each edition is a promise of encounters, discoveries and unforgettable moments,underline the volunteers of the association. What makes this event unique are the values ​​it defends: inclusion, sharing, sustainable development.

There is strength in unity. This is the essential notion that we wish to convey around this 7e éditionthey continue. It is also the one that we carry every day in our actions. Supporting Courir après l’Envol means supporting people affected by cancer and those around them.

It will take place on June 28, 2026 and will be open to both accomplished sportsmen than to budding joggers. The start of the 7 km course will be from the Jean Rouyer car dealership, before stopping at West Coast Acadamy, at FDI, Tim Composite, Pro Lavage, Kélio, Marolotest and Actisol. In total, 1,000 participants are expected during the morning (500 runners and 500 walkers).

Three courses will be offered: a three-person relay race (timed), individual Nordic walking (timed) and a solidarity walk (untimed and accessible to all).

To register, participants can go directly to the website apreslenvol.fr. For the relay race and Nordic walking, the registration fee is €10 per person. The solidarity walk will cost €6 per person.
