A resident of Thenon, Thaïs Gaillard is a final year student at the Saint-Joseph high school in Périgueux. After her baccalaureate in hospitality professions, she wishes to continue her studies in BTS communication at the start of the 2026 school year with the dream of working in fashion, “perhaps in marketing”. She also admits that she hopes that her year with the Miss scarf will help her make valuable contacts for the future.

The different choreographed passages, in vahiné outfit (Tahitian theme obliges), in an evening dress, in a swimsuit and finally as a bride, raised the temperature in a packed room. “There are between 600 and 700 people,” says Olivier Préaux, on the microphone all evening. He has been organizing this election with his wife, Betty, for sixteen years.
