Once through the rotunda door and the opulent velvet curtain, the Norman universe opens up to us. A place that aims to be unique but warm. What stands out in the first place is the absence of traditional reception. Instead, we find a large library lounge with fireplace. The vintage sofas, the lovingly found objects, the works of art… everything seems to have been selected by an owner with a distinct taste. The decor crosses the ages, plays with materials and designs. And yet, each element in its place and harmony envelops us. The Norman spirit is in fact born from the homage to Norman Ives, a figure of American modernism: vibrant colors, graphic lines and Bauhaus spirit. Everything is combined here with a contemporary touch by Thomas Vidalenc.
A luxurious cocoon
Only 37 keys, the Norman is intended to be intimate. You feel at home here with highly personalized service, discreet but always very attentive. The relaxed atmosphere of the living spaces extends to the rooms and suites. The interior combines wood, wool and a refined touch of leather. Nothing is left to chance in the layout. The bathrooms keep the same spirit, between tiled mosaic on the wall and marble sink. Everywhere, abstract paintings of modernist inspiration, a nod to the emblematic style of Norman Ives.
