But above all, this designer address signed by Starck, proudly claims it: it is focused on the well-being of its customers, it is a yoga hotel where it is good to retire all year round (no closures, unlike most 5-star hotels in the French Riviera). Yoga is part of a global method of fitness, complete and personalized, designed around the elegant Shape Club of 2000 m², the signature of the address.

In this sanctuary of the healthy body, the days revolve around tailor-made programs (in 4, 7, 10 or 14 days) combining nutrition, care and sport according to the chosen problem: slimming, aging better, detox… Obviously, yoga classes punctuate the cures, available in all their forms: indoors, outdoors upon rising sun, on a paddle board… You can also enjoy it à la carte, without a dedicated program. The idea is not to sweat for nothing, but to reconcile pleasure and discipline in a framework – it must be said – rather motivating.

Especially since after each session, yogis can enjoy the Shape Club spa facilities (several award-winning): sauna, hammams, cold bath, heated semi-Olympic swimming pool, cryotherapy cabin, facial treatments with Biologique Recherche and holistic massages… The atmosphere cultivates a solar, bohemian and relaxed art of living. The establishment offers 53 keys, including some divine villas, discreetly nestled by the beach and equipped with private swimming pools. On the table side, three restaurants offer cuisine that is as healthy as it is tasty, under the leadership of chef Vincent Maillard with the assistance of nutritionist doctor Jacques Fricker.

Two of these tables, Pépé (a charming straw hut) and Brigantine (with its pretty terrace overlooking the sea), adjoin the Beach Club located a few minutes’ walk from the hills which shelter the hotel. In the same day, we combine lazy afternoons on the beach, stretching facing the blue horizon, delicious cocktails and healthy haute cuisine… A modern temple for balanced pleasures.

2. Hôtel HOY Paris | Le grand zen urbain

Founded by Charlotte Gomez de Orozco, this hotel in Montmartre (an acronym for House of Yoga as well as a nod to the Spanish “today”) is a delicate UFO in the Parisian hotel landscape. From the entrance, the tone is set: the vibrant lobby is inhabited by the floral arrangements of the Japanese artist Chiaki Kokami, like an authentic flourishesía – you can also make your own bouquet during a duo workshop (1 hour, 150 euros).

In the South Pigalle district, this yoga hotel offers 21 refined keys that cultivate happy minimalism. Reduce distractions, refocus on your well-being: such is the conceptual choice of this address, which embodies it through a host of quality details, particularly appreciable when you give importance to your environment. In the rooms, stretching bars replace the television, natural materials dominate (the 4-star hotel has banned plastic), the colors are soft and soothing, the air is continuously purified and the water is filtered with binchotan charcoal.

But it is on the upper floors that the project fully reveals its dimension, with the presence of a real YUJ yoga studio, imagined by Hélène Duval, the priestess of infrared yoga. In this beautifully decorated room bathed in subdued light, infrared heat envelops the body during each session, intensifying the sensations and prolonging the benefits of the postures.

Every day, the 4-star hotel in Paris offers a varied program accessible to all, from gentle flow to yin detox, including sound baths. Added to this is a constellation of unique experiences: ice baths inspired by the Wim Hof method, workshops around dreams, meditation or even the discovery of medicinal plants… Finally, to refine the aside disconnected, rooms converted into wellness cabins also host relaxing holistic, Ayurvedic or energetic treatments. On the table side, the hotel’s restaurant, Mesa, celebrates inventive and committed cuisine which greedily interweaves Latin-American flavors and vegetable accents. The HOY hotel is quite simply a precious address to offer yourself the luxury of slowing down in the city: the spirit of yoga infuses every moment of your stay!
