The lights are green for the Paris ÃŽle-de-France destination according to the Choose Paris Region report for the year 2025. Paris ÃŽle-de-France is, in fact, asserting itself, more than ever, as the world’s leading tourist destination. The year 2025 sets a historic record with 49.1 million visitors and economic benefits amounting to €23.6 billion. In 10 years, tourist spending has jumped by €2.9 billion. These figures confirm the predominant place of tourism in the Ile-de-France economy, particularly thanks to the post-Olympic and Paralympic Games dynamic driven by international customers. In this regard, international attendance is at its peak with more than 23 million visitors, an increase of 3% compared to 2024. Their spending, which reached €15.6 billion, is up +5% and represents two-thirds of spending. total. American (2.8 million, +1%), British (2.5 million, +2%), Italian (1.6 million, +2%), German (1.5 million, +1%) and Spanish (1.4 million, +2%) tourists remain the most numerous. For its part, French customers show almost stable attendance (with 25.9 million visitors) and tourist consumption down 6% (€8 billion).
