While Senegalese and Algerian fans will have to pay $15,000 to travel to the United States to attend the 2026 World Cup, others have decided to participate in the competition by making enormous sacrifices. According to information from The Mirrora certain Andy Milne, a 62-year-old British retiree, has become the symbol of an entire people in recent hours. The former professor is said to have put his second home located in Northwich – in the north of England – up for sale for around $465,000 (or €430,000).
A fan of the England team, which he has followed for many years, he would like to finance a seven-week trip across the United States, Canada and Mexico to attend the event. According to his recent statements, the total cost of the adventure, including flights, accommodation and tickets for all England matches, would be so high that selling his home would not be enough to cover it. Currently, he lives in Thailand, but seems calm about his departure. Without being held back by extravagant sums and price inflation, he does not give up on his dream, hoping to see the Three Lions triumph in North America.
