The last municipal council meeting of Soullans in late January included discussions on acquiring land, implementing and adopting internal regulations for sports facilities, and installing electric vehicle charging stations.

Acquisition of two parcels As part of the communal land reserve establishment and to anticipate future development needs, the council approved the acquisition of a 4,135 m² plot at Le Pin for 900€. The free acquisition of a 9 m² plot at the corner of Rue du Bois Menard and Rue des Chardonnerets was also approved for road improvement, as stated by Mayor Jean-Michel Rouillé.

Adoption of internal regulations for sports facilities Mayor Jean-Michel Rouillé emphasized the importance of good behavior and safety for users of municipal sports facilities. To ensure user safety, regulate hours, access conditions, responsibilities, and equipment respect, internal regulations for sports facilities were established in compliance with relevant codes. Unanimously approved, these regulations will be visibly displayed in the facilities.

Installation of electric vehicle charging stations In response to the call for expressions of interest by the Océan Marais de Monts community of communes for the deployment of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (IRVE), two locations were selected to enhance the existing network: the stadium car park and Ledesma square. The unanimous decision aims to provide convenient charging options for users frequenting sports areas or the town center.
