Ceret SV

Baptiste Peytavi en bleu et blanc

At 23 years old, Baptiste Peytavi, the sturdy Catalan second row (1.96m, 112kg) has just committed to the Ceret Sportif Vallespir, his training club.

A true product of Ceret, Peytavi was playing at Stadoceste Tarbais, but the Pyrenean club, competing in Nationale 1, has just declared a general withdrawal.

Millas

Les rouge et noir relégués

A quick rise and then they’re gone… After a strong start to the season in Federale 3, the Millas team has faced a difficult end to their journey.

Promoted this season, Laurent Bosch’s men saw their last hopes of staying afloat vanish last Sunday at home against their Illibérien neighbors (15-24) and will therefore return to regional 1 next season.

Ponteilla

Nicolas Bruzy remet ça

Former player from RC Toulon, USAP, Rumilly, and Ceret, Nicolas Bruzy, 51 years old and former coach of Thuir and Prades, joined the green and white club four years ago as a coach.

Recently settled with his wife and children in the village, he has just agreed with the board to remain at the helm of the team in 2026-2027.

Les écoles s’illustrent

The P-O region shines by securing five podium finishes out of six possible at the academic level.

Saint-Jean-Pla-de-Corts school claims its first title and will compete in its first national final in June.

On the other hand, Perpignan Jeanne-d’Arc confirms its consistency with a second consecutive runner-up title after 2025.

And Jean-Jacques Rousseau school in Perpignan regains its place on the podium after its victories in 2023 and 2024.
