Under the eyes of the national selector

The national selector of the French team, César Hernandez, was present for this top-level volleyball showdown. The Spanish coach was able to observe the Mulhousian internationals Léandra Olinga Andela and setter Enora Danard-Selosse. From VNVB’s side, Maelys Agnese was also under scrutiny. The assistant to the national selector, Nancéien Fèlix André, was also in attendance.

Jacques Rousselot as an entertainer

Jacques Rousselot had of course made the trip to the Adidas Arena this Saturday. His presence was obviously noticeable as he quickly went towards the supporters’ stand of VNVB. It was even him who started the first “ola” Vandopérienne and enjoyed it. Jacques Rousselot, ambassador, but also Jacques Rousselot, entertainer!

The elected officials present

Representatives of the new municipalities of Nancy and its agglomeration were present. Stéphane Hablot, the deputy of Vandoeuvre, who is expected to soon regain the mayorship of the town, supported the club that shines in the second most populated city in the department. In Nancy, Serge Raineri, the former sports deputy of the previous term, could not miss it either, as he was long the president of VNVB. He was able to fully appreciate the magnificent show in this Parisian setting. “We lacked a bit of consistency, but they were very strong,” he commented with his expert eye.

A too quick protocol In the middle of the third set, while Mulhouse was leading, all the volunteers began to set up the infrastructure for the victory protocol in a friendly manner. It’s safe to say that the volunteers quickly retreated when VNVB took that set to come back in the game, after a set point by Robinson. From the press stand, it was amusing to witness the scene unfolding as the suspense was at its peak on the court.
