By 2025, Éric Antoine confirmed his status as a safe bet for M6. Between the return of La roue de la fortune, the success of Traîtres, 99 à battre or even La France a un incroyable talent, the host has been filming non-stop to become one of the most exposed faces of the channel. At the same time, he also announced the end of Lego Masters, after five seasons. He explained that the program, expensive and heavy to produce, no longer attracted enough viewers. “I think we’ve done a bit of everything,” the host confided to Puremédias. “Watching people lay bricks, that was fun for a while.” A conclusion made even clearer as the ratings had been steadily declining since the launch in 2020. Conversely, La roue de la fortune was definitely one of the formats set to continue.
This Thursday, April 2, M6 is once again putting its trust in La roue de la fortune as the prime time attraction with a special celebrity edition airing from 9:10 pm. At the helm, Éric Antoine reunites with nine personalities who have come to test their luck while playing for charities. As in the daily version, the principle remains the same: solve puzzles, increase the jackpot, and avoid dreaded squares like Bankruptcy or Exchange, which can change everything in an instant.
Three celebrity teams tonight
For this fifth special evening, the guests will be divided into three teams of three. The first trio will unite Michel Boujenah, Chantal Ladesou, and Ilyes Djadel. The second will be composed of Tibo InShape, Inès Vandamme, and Lebouseuh. Finally, Gérard Jugnot, Charlotte Gabris, and Élie Semoun complete the evening’s lineup. In each round, the best contestant will secure their spot in the final with the goal of further increasing the earnings for the charity they represent. With humor, competition, and twists of fate, the evening promises to be once again very lively on M6.
