By 2025, Éric Antoine confirmed his status as a M6 star. Between the return of “La roue de la fortune”, the success of “Les Traîtres”, “99 fois sur cent” or “La France a un incroyable talent”, the host is busy with filming to become one of the most exposed faces of the channel. At the same time, he also announced the end of “Lego Masters” after five seasons. Antoine mentioned that the show, costly and challenging to produce, no longer attracted enough viewers. “I think we’ve pretty much done it all,” the host told Puremédias. “Watching people build bricks, it held for a while.” This was clear as the ratings had been steadily declining since the show’s launch in 2020. In contrast, “La roue de la fortune” was one of the formats set to continue.
On Thursday, April 2, M6 once again banks on “La roue de la fortune” in prime time with a special celebrities edition airing from 9:10 pm. Hosted by Éric Antoine, nine celebrities will try their luck while playing for charities. Just like the regular version, the concept remains the same: solve puzzles, increase the prize money, and avoid the dreaded spaces like Bankruptcy or Exchange that can change everything in an instant.
Tonight, for this fifth special event, the guests will be divided into three teams of three. The first trio consists of Michel Boujenah, Chantal Ladesou, and Ilyes Djadel. The second team will be made up of Tibo InShape, Inès Vandamme, and Lebouseuh. Finally, Gérard Jugnot, Charlotte Gabris, and Élie Semoun complete the evening’s lineup. In each round, the best candidate will secure a spot in the final with the goal of further increasing the winnings for the charity they represent. With humor, competition, and twists of fate, the evening promises to be lively once again on M6.
