Zendaya opens up about her successful career in 2026 and the need to take a step back.
The year 2026 is certainly Zendaya’s year. The actress, recently interviewed by “Fandango” to promote her latest film with Robert Pattinson, “The Drama,” discussed the future of her career. Zendaya is making a big comeback on the big screen, featuring in “The Drama” movie and joining the cast of the latest “Spider-Man” installment alongside her real-life partner Tom Holland, “Dune” with Timothée Chalamet, and Christopher Nolan’s upcoming project, “The Odyssey,” where she will star with her current on-screen partner, Robert Pattinson.
Taking a step back in her career
Aside from her film appearances, Zendaya will also reprise her role as Rue in the third season of the hit series “Euphoria.” With a busy schedule ahead, the actress is considering a break after the intense workload and media promotions. This need for me-time comes after her involvement in the 2024 film “Challenger.”
During the interview, Zendaya said, “I hope you won’t get tired of me this year. I’m truly grateful to everyone supporting my films or my career in any way. Because let me tell you, after this, I will disappear for a while. I’ll have to lay low for a bit.”

Recently appearing on “C à Vous,” Zendaya and Robert Pattinson continued to share insights about their project that has captured public interest. Zendaya recalled her recent surprise appearance at a real Las Vegas wedding as part of the film promotion where she marries Robert Pattinson. She said, “It was very exciting, I had never done that before. They didn’t know, and they appreciated me crashing their wedding.” She also mentioned that she believes the film might inspire some young couples to get married.
