After several tough years marked by illness and medical treatments, Florent Pagny is back in better shape than ever. In 2026, he has a busy schedule ahead, including a seven-month marathon tour to promote his latest album, “Grandeur nature,” released in September 2025, and a return as a coach on the fifteenth season of “The Voice”.
Appearing on the set of “C à vous” on March 31, 2026, the singer also opened up about his relationship with Azucena Caamaño, his partner of over thirty years.
As the couple approaches their twentieth wedding anniversary, Florent Pagny fondly recalled their meeting. “We met on May 1st and actually got married on May 13. And we had been together for 13 years, the children were there and happy to experience the wedding. It’s very nice to get married with your children.”
When asked by journalist Emilie Tran Nguyen if there are any plans for May 13 to celebrate their anniversary, the singer, who splits his time between France and Argentina, replied candidly. “Oh, but we celebrate every day, it’s not just because there’s a birthday party. We celebrate all the time.”
Continuing with great tenderness, he added, “When there’s love, when there’s true love, it’s every day. She’s my other half and we will end our lives together.”
After several years of absence due to illness, Florent Pagny is preparing to hit the road in France for several months. For this comeback, the singer has completely reorganized his schedule. “I planned everything with the help of medicine to make sure I would be in top form,” he explained on “C à vous”. “I couldn’t afford to catch a cold and see too many people.”
To preserve his voice and energy, Florent Pagny has established a strict routine before each performance. “There’s no one in the dressing room. At 6:30 pm, I enter my dressing room, I go to sleep. At 8 pm, I wake up, get ready, and go on stage at 8:45 pm.” This discipline allows him to fully enjoy each show. “It’s amazing to be able to start again, I feel ready and excited. I want to give my best to those who come to see me,” he concluded.
