On the 29th of January 2026, she released her book, “The Scar”, in bookstores. At 39 years old, mother of two boys, Charlotte Casiraghi grew up in front of the photographers’ lenses. She was born on August 3, 1986. Presented to the press at her birth, baptism, presence on the balcony during the Monégasque national holiday, the daughter of Princess Caroline of Monaco and Stefano Casiraghi had a childhood divided between her few representational duties and the passions that drive her.
Among them, literature. She also pursued studies in philosophy. But Andrea and Pierre Casiraghi’s sister is also passionate about sports, especially horseback riding. The young woman is an accomplished equestrian, a skill her mother does not hesitate to support her in during her show jumping competitions.
An childhood marked by trials
When she was only 4 years old, Charlotte Casiraghi had to face the tragic death of her father, Stefano Casiraghi, in a boating accident. Off the coast of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, he was participating in an offshore race, an extreme sport often compared to Formula 1 on water. She then left the Rock and the family settled in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, then on the side of Fontainebleau, far from the media buzz of the principality.
Eleventh in the line of succession, Charlotte Casiraghi still participated in the major events that punctuate Monaco’s life. Such as the Rose Ball held every year in March, or the Formula 1 Grand Prix.
