Vendredi 10 April, the Ruthenian association is organizing a classical music concert for Easter. It is the first of its five annual events.

For the first of its five annual events, the Affetti Nostri association, founded in 2013 by former residents of the Aveyron Conservatory, will take over the Chapelle Royale on Place Foch.

This classical music concert will take place on Friday, April 10th, starting at 8:30 pm, and will be themed around Easter, “which the greatest musicians have tackled through ‘Stabat Mater’ (the mother who weeps for her child), of which the most famous are Pergolesi and Dvorak,” explains Chantal Renoult, the association’s president.

For the occasion, Affetti Nostri offers a rich program: the interpretation of Théodore Dubois’ “Seven Last Words of Christ” and scenes from church in the operas Tosca, Trovatore, Faust, and Cavaliera Rusticana. These works will be performed by musicians (piano, cello, violin, double bass, and organ), by the Voces Collium choir from Toulouse directed by Simon Siaud, as well as by soprano Fifaliana Miakajato and the special guest of the concert: tenor Claude Minich from the Capitole National Choir.

Tickets are available on the Affetti Nostri HelloAsso page. The prices are 15 euros for a reserved seat in advance, 8 euros for children under 12, and 18 euros for an adult ticket purchased on the evening of the concert.
