The Festival of Short Films celebrates boldness and creativity with a mix of classic Disney and contemporary gems.
The Festival of Short Films is an event created by the association Faites des courts, Fête des Films (FCFF) in 2015. It aims to promote short films to a wider audience by organizing a festival with a selection of short films. In the region, it collaborates with cities like Toulouse and associations like Assemblées ciné-toyennes (ACT) and cinema Concorde. The 2026 edition featured a mix of family-friendly Disney classics like “Alice Comédies” and French short films showcasing creativity and talent. The short film format allows for experimentation without the constraints of commercial objectives, making it a unique platform for cinematic artistry.
The theme of “Viens voir les comédiens” showcased the work of young and daring directors like Ambroise Rateau, Ben Richardot, Alex Cahn, and Lomane de Dietrich. These filmmakers brought together renowned actors like Philippe Rebbot, Raphaël Quenard, and Benjamin Voisin to portray intense and heartfelt moments on screen. The audience at cinema Concorde enjoyed a memorable experience filled with unconventional storytelling and emotional depth.
