Among the 18 proposals in the program and in addition to the new features announced yesterday in our columns, Véo Grand Central also offers an exceptional meeting around a superb family film … and a “chocolate” Easter weekend!
On Monday, April 6 at 2 p.m., “The Child in the Desert” (from 8 years old) will be presented in preview. Gilles de Maistre (director of Mia and the White Lion, The Last Jaguar, Moon the Panda, etc.), signs a fable inspired by real events that mixes transmission, memory and the animal world: Lost in the immensity of the Sahara, a child survives thanks to a family of ostriches. Almost animal fusion with the desert, “family” relationship with birds, produce an almost magical story: bathed in real, vast, changing, almost mystical landscapes, “The Child in the Desert takes the whole family on a fabulous journey”.
Throughout the Easter weekend, the little gourmets will no doubt appreciate the “permanence” of the chocolatier “De la Fève au Palais” in the cinema lobby.
On Sunday, 5th and Monday, 6th, a “great Easter egg game” in the cinema lobby will allow you to win a “mega chocolate egg”, filled with nibbles, confectionery, marshmallows, which the youngest will share (maybe) with the family. In addition, on Monday at 10:30 a.m., the animated film “Walter Rabbit” (from 5 years old) will be followed by a special treasure hunt with film goodies and chocolates.
