Discussions around Heeseung’s solo project, a former member of ENHYPEN, are gaining traction. A short video from a recent fan call has sparked questions, as he seemed hesitant when talking about his upcoming album.
Heeseung, who officially left ENHYPEN back in March 2026 while continuing some scheduled activities, is still engaging with fans. It was during a fan call on March 30, 2026, when a particular moment caught attention.
Asked about the new concepts related to his solo album, he hesitated to answer: “I don’t really know… uh… what will be new for you. I’m trying, I’m doing my best.” This vague response quickly circulated online.
A few days earlier, on March 22, during another fan call on Yizhiy, Heeseung had stated that a solo album was in the works and would be coming out soon. No additional details were shared at that time.
The release of this excerpt has sparked numerous reactions on social media. Some netizens have expressed doubts about the actual preparation of the project, pointing out the lack of clarity in his statements.
Among the comments shared online:
– “It looks like this wasn’t even prepared. Does this album really exist? Or was he separated from the group without explanation? Maybe, maybe, maybe.” – “You’re telling me the person who had a mixtape ready for two years and was signed as a soloist under the same agency doesn’t know the concept of his album? And it was his choice? Okay…” – “This agency makes no sense. His solo should have been more lively, but Belift didn’t allow him to stay in ENHYPEN, and now it’s like this. I hate Belift. We should’ve seen ENHYPEN members talking about their hyung’s solo in ‘En-o’clock.'” – “It’s so strange. When asked about his solo, he looks down and avoids eye contact. He doesn’t smile, he’s not enthusiastic, he doesn’t seem like he wants to talk about it.”
This controversy comes amid a delicate situation. BELIFT LAB confirmed on March 10, 2026, that Heeseung would no longer be part of ENHYPEN. The group now continues its activities as a six-member formation, while the artist transitions to a solo career.
Subsequently, his profile was removed from the group’s Weverse page, and he now appears as a solo artist on HYBE’s official platforms. Despite these changes, some fans continue to question this decision and demand more explanations.
On the other hand, ENHYPEN announced a world tour titled “ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR ‘BLOOD SAGA’.” It will kick off in Seoul in May 2026 with several concerts at the KSPO Dome, also broadcast online.
The tour will then continue in South America, North America, Asia, and Europe, with dates planned until 2027. More stages are expected to be revealed soon.
In your opinion, do these reactions reflect genuine concern or simply fans’ interpretation due to a lack of information?
