Reality TV star Loana passed away on March 25. Just days after this sad news, her last life partner, Sophie, has decided to break her silence.

A tumultuous relationship. On Monday, March 30, Loana’s last companion, Sophie Ortega, spoke out on the show “Tout beau tout neuf”. This was her first public statement, where she spoke with the show’s team and an audio clip was broadcast.

The partner of Loana, Sophie, breaks the silence

During the show, Sophie, who is expected to be questioned by the police regarding Loana’s disappearance – with whom she lived – decided to speak out for the first time and address the rumors about her. She expressed that Loana was not held against her will at home: “She was absolutely not held captive in my home. It was her choice to turn off her phone and cut ties with certain people, because she needed to step back. She would go out every night to walk her dog with me, so she was far from being locked up, it’s absurd.”

Heavy accusations surrounding Loana’s partner

Sophie continued by revealing that since Loana’s disappearance, she has received many death threats, as some speculate that she may be responsible for the star’s vanishing. In response to these serious allegations, Sophie shed more light on the nature of their relationship: “The nature of our relationship, the conflicts we had, like in every relationship, do not justify that I would have killed her. We had a tumultuous relationship, of course, but we must not forget that Loana had a disease called bipolar disorder. It led to conflicts because she is extreme in everything.”

Sophie concluded her recorded statement aired on the show “Tout beau tout neuf” by straightforwardly recounting the last evening spent with the missing star: “It was on Sunday, we took Titi for a walk, watched a movie she hadn’t seen before. We were as usual, on the couch, in front of the TV, and then we went to bed and the next day I left.”
