On the set of Cube TV, we get into the game, with fewer camera lenses in sight! Here, the only ambition is to have a friendly and unforgettable time with friends and/or work colleagues around a unique activity: television games. For a year now, Jérémie Jarny has been running the Cube TV company in the city center of Brest, where he hosts several iconic entertainment shows from the small screen. All done with total spontaneity and in real-time conditions!

Plato on a platter! Business leaders from Brest who are part of the professional network Plato, led by the CCI Finistère, gathered at the Cube TV Brest premises, a company opened a year ago by Jérémie Jarny, who is also a member of the Plato network. The idea behind this event was to introduce people to his world and strengthen team bonds by sharing an entertainment activity inspired by a classic TV show.

This is the concept of Cube TV, a company that offers a unique pastime: immersion in game sets to experience as teams, whether with family, friends, or work colleagues. The franchise was created in 2022 in Nancy, and since then, eight replicas have opened in France, including two in Brittany (Brest and Lanester).

Jérémie Jarny inaugurated Cube TV Brest in October 2024. A former radio journalist (he was one of the voices of Cherie FM in Quimper), the media man decided to venture into entrepreneurship while keeping a foot in the world that shaped him: television. “I started from scratch!,” recalled the director. Everything from business plans, financing, investment, recruitment was carefully considered and built. “I attended the 5 Days to Start training at the CCI in Finistère in Quimper. This initial training helped me understand the concepts of business management, formalities, accounting, etc. I needed that to reassure myself and build confidence,” he said. Regular support from an accountant helped him quickly project himself once the location was found.

Sharing a good time in real-time conditions

Jérémie Jarny set up on Glasgow street in the city center of Brest: a unique location that needed a complete renovation. The entrepreneur invested 250,000 euros in this work: the 400m² space was divided into six separate rooms plus a friendly space with a bar and light dining options. Each room opens onto a distinctive area, represented by a game entertainment set inspired by TV shows such as Les 12 Coups de midi, Une famille en or, la Roue de la Fortune, or Vendredi tout est permis. “The goal is to be immersed in these worlds to share a good time in real-time conditions,” said Jérémie Jarny, who surrounded himself with a team of hosts responsible for the ambiance and game rules.

Team cohesion

This new venue attracts all generations. The clients include both fans of these TV games and complete newcomers, just attracted by the desire to play. “The formula appeals to families as well as groups of friends. We also offer space privatization for special events such as bachelorette or bachelor parties, as well as company seminars, sports events, or any team cohesion initiative,” highlighted Jérémie Jarny, who complements his offer with catering, dining, and entertainment services. “We can accommodate up to 80 people simultaneously.”

On Google and social networks, the activity offered by Cube TV is rated with 5 stars and enthusiastic comments. “Our primary ambition is for people to have a good time and leave with a smile,” said Jérémie Jarny, who successfully enlisted nearby businesses to provide prizes for the winners of these games on the set. The entrance fees are reasonable and range between 10 and 30 euros per person, depending on the duration of the game and the number of participants required.

A unique activity

The first year of operation was made difficult due to construction work on neighboring bus lines, which closed access to the street for several months. The new director was unable to achieve the expected turnover. “Since last September and the completion of the works, things have improved, and the activity has benefitted,” rejoiced Jérémie Jarny, who intensified his communication on social networks to expand the Cube TV brand. “We are the only ones to offer this!.” The argument resonates throughout Finistère, attracting teams from Carhaix, Morlaix, and Quimper to challenge their TV culture knowledge and have a fun time.
