For forty-four years, aspects uniquely combines concerts and an engaging educational approach. For this new edition, the festival offers an in-depth study of Betsy Jolas’ work. We will hear her music in chamber settings, symphonic formations, by our teaching artists, guest artists, or students, in a program co-created with the composer. Her works will be performed alongside those of Henri Dutilleux, Ondřej Adámek, Luciano Berio, as well as Prokofiev, Debussy, Boulange, among others.

Celebrating Betsy Jolas at Radio France, on June 19, with a concert by the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by their chef Jaap van Zweden, performing “B-day,” a piece revolving around the theme of “Happy Birthday.”
