Meeting between UFR MIM and SUT Gliwice Delegation

On Wednesday, March 25, 2026, the UFR MIM welcomed a delegation from the Silesian University of Technology (SUT) in Gliwice, Poland, accompanied by Aurore Mac-Intosch from the DRIE – International Mobility of Nancy.
The delegation discussed with the UFR MIM teams about training, educational tools, and student support systems. The delegation included:
- Grażyna Maszniew, Director of the Study Services Center,
- Sabina Gorczyca-Kamaj, Head of the Admissions Office,
- Bogumiła Patejukt, Academic Coordinator of Teaching Load and Head of International Student Recruitment.
After exchanging welcome gifts, a presentation about UFR MIM was given, followed by discussions on the diversity of international students, their French proficiency level, success rates, and post-DU careers. The visitors also expressed interest in the master’s programs, specifically MMSP and BioCad, while highlighting the need to increase English-language courses.
The delegation then presented the Silesian University of Technology, followed by discussions on digital tools used for teaching and student monitoring (ENT, Apogée, ADE). Recruitment platforms such as ParcourSup, CampusFrance, ecandidat, and monMaster were also addressed.
The visit continued with a tour of UFR MIM’s facilities, including lecture halls, the cafeteria, exam rooms, and practical workspaces. The guests particularly enjoyed the LISA student association room.
This meeting explored new collaboration opportunities between our institutions, especially in terms of international mobility and educational innovation.
