Connecting creative ideas with practicality: Launch of the Scientific and Technological Innovation Portal

In the era of knowledge economy, the gap between ideas and practice is often hindered by procedural obstacles and lack of connectivity. The Scientific and Technological Innovation and Digital Transformation Portal has been created as a comprehensive solution to this issue.

Designed with a philosophy of total integration, the platform serves as a data link between creators and regulatory entities. It constitutes a concrete step towards implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on major advancements in national scientific and technological development, innovation, and digital transformation. It also serves as an important tool for receiving and selecting innovative initiatives to serve national development.

The operation of the Innovation Portal is based on Prime Minister Decision No. 2266/QD-TTg, which promulgates the process of selecting innovative initiatives in accordance with the strategic action plan for implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW, creating a unified legal framework for the entire process of receiving, evaluating, and submitting initiatives for review by competent authorities.

According to Central Steering Committee Plan No. 01-KH/BC-DCTW, the innovation portal was created not only to gather innovative ideas and proposals, but also to achieve the broader goal of unlocking the creative potential of society, mobilizing the intellect of experts, scientists, businesses, and the people, forming a source of high-quality innovations that directly contribute to socio-economic development, enhance national competitiveness, and promote autonomy in science and technology.
