Carsat Centre Ouest is paving the way for innovation in preventing loss of autonomy with “Résid’ innov”, a new program aimed at retirees living in autonomous residences. The initiative aims to identify innovative solutions, test their effectiveness in the field, and create a catalog accessible to establishments by the end of 2026.
The program is open to startups, associations, and innovative structures based in Limousin-Poitou-Charentes or laureates of VIVA Lab. The goal is to create a catalog of tested solutions and allow establishments to access these devices for free by the end of 2026.
To stimulate innovation and Active Aging, the first phase of “Résid’ innov” involves an open call for projects to all structures offering innovative devices, services, or tools to prevent loss of autonomy. Eligible candidates must meet certain criteria, such as being located in one of the seven departments of the former regions of Limousin and Poitou-Charentes.
The program has two complementary objectives: to develop a catalog of selected solutions for autonomous residences and to allow project developers to test and evaluate their solutions before the second phase of the program in June-July 2026. Applications must be sent exclusively by email to limogesvivalabsilvereco@carsat-centreouest.fr before April 30, 2026.
“Résid’ innov” reflects Carsat’s commitment to using innovation to serve seniors’ autonomy by promoting concrete, accessible, and tested solutions to improve the daily lives of retirees living in autonomous residency.
