What is Jewish Passover?
The Jewish Passover celebration (without s, therefore) lasts eight days. It celebrates a central event in the history and faith of the people of Israel: the Exodus, in other words the exit from Egypt. This episode in the history of the Hebrew people is recounted in the Book of Exodus, the second book of the Torah.
