Despite her explanations, Fatima Ellouzati was summoned before the N-VA disciplinary commission, after which the young woman was temporarily excluded from the party. According to some, this exclusion is also linked to statements made on social networks about his party colleague, federal deputy Darya Safai, as well as to online discussions. At the headquarters of the N-VA, there is talk of repeated non-compliance with internal rules, without however detailing the alleged facts.

The dismissal of the Antwerp player had the effect of amplifying the media attention surrounding the affair. Known for her outspokenness, Ellouzati does not intend to stop there. Active in her neighborhood and very present on social networks, she denounces an injustice and announces that she wants to challenge her exclusion in court.

“I just want to be treated correctly by the N-VA (…) I still have not received a credible reason for my eviction,” she reacted to Het Laatste Nieuws. Before adding ironically: “Is Bart going to be excluded from the party?”
