Cade Cunningham Impresses in Return From Injury as Pistons Defeat Bucks
Cade Cunningham’s comeback game after his collapsed lung injury did not disappoint, leading the Detroit Pistons to a 137-111 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks in their final home game of the regular season at Little Caesars Arena. Cunningham scored 13 points, dished out 10 assists, and grabbed five rebounds, showcasing his impact on both ends of the court.
Joining Cunningham in his return was Isaiah Stewart, who scored eight points in his first game back from a calf injury.
Pistons Team Chemistry Shines in Cunningham’s Return

The Pistons showcased their depth as seven players scored in double figures, with Jalen Duren leading the way with 21 points, nine rebounds, and three assists.
Other standout performances came from Duncan Robinson (20 points) and Ronald Holland II (18 points), contributing to the Pistons’ 3-1 series win over the Bucks. Despite their struggles, Detroit’s three-point shooting improved, hitting 14 threes and shooting 47% from beyond the arc.
Looking ahead, the Pistons aim to become more consistent in three-point shooting, which could be crucial for their NBA championship aspirations.
With this win, the Pistons now stand at 58-22 for the season and are on the verge of reaching 60 wins for the first time since the 2005-06 season. Achieving this milestone would place them in the company of the Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs as the only other NBA teams to hit the 60-win mark.

The Pistons will look to edge closer to this milestone as they face the Hornets in Charlotte, aiming for victory in their final two road games against the Charlotte Hornets and Indiana Pacers.
