The Michigan Wolverines dominated Arizona in the Final Four, securing a 91-73 victory and earning a spot in the championship game against UConn.

Junior center Aday Mara led the Wolverines with a career-high 26 points and nine rebounds, while Yaxel Lendeborg added 11 points in just 14 minutes of play.

Michigan continued their impressive March Madness run by handily defeating their fifth consecutive opponent by double digits, making them the first team to score over 90 points five times in a single tournament.

In the championship matchup, Michigan will face UConn, who emerged victorious with a 71-62 win over Illinois in the earlier semifinal game.

Both Michigan and Arizona entered the game with strong defenses, high-ranking offenses, and a roster of potential NBA stars, but it was the Wolverines who dominated from the start, establishing a double-digit lead within the first few minutes.

Despite a decent performance from Koa Peat, who contributed 16 points and 11 rebounds for Arizona, the Wildcats struggled to keep up with Michigan’s offense and fell behind early in the game.

Jaden Bradley, a key player for Arizona, faced foul trouble early in the second half and finished with 13 points in a game that saw Michigan maintain control throughout.
