Police say a bicyclist was killed in a crash that shut down a road Friday morning in southwest Oklahoma City.
The crash happened on Newcastle Road between MacArthur Boulevard and Rockwell Avenue. Sky 5, which is the only news helicopter in the air on weekday mornings, showed numerous police officers and paramedics at the scene.
Police confirmed to KOCO 5 that a bicyclist involved in the crash died. Information about the bicyclist has not been released. The driver involved in the collision stayed at the scene. What led up to the crash is under investigation.
