Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua has entered a rehabilitation center following allegations of antisemitism and assault. His attorney confirmed that Nacua, a two-time Pro Bowl selection, is focusing on his health and personal growth at a private facility. He will complete the program before the Rams’ organized training activities begin in a few weeks, according to The Athletic.

The civil lawsuit accuses Nacua of making an offensive remark about Jewish people during a group dinner. The plaintiff, who felt uncomfortable and emotionally distressed due to her Jewish faith, also alleged that Nacua bit her on the shoulder. Nacua has denied the allegations, with his attorney stating that he takes responsibility for his well-being during the offseason.

At the NFL’s annual league meeting, Rams coach Sean McVay addressed the incident, emphasizing the importance of gathering all the information before making judgments. Nacua, who led the NFL in receptions last season, is in the final year of his rookie contract after a successful 2025 season with the Rams.

In a statement last December, Nacua apologized for a gesture on an internet livestream that perpetuated harmful stereotypes against Jewish people. Despite the ongoing legal battle, Nacua’s performance on the field has been notable, leading the Rams to the NFC Championship Game in 2025.
