The two partners enter into a commercial agreement to develop advanced positioning and navigation solutions in the EMEA region, with the aim of meeting a growing demand for precision and reliability.

This collaboration aims to develop growth opportunities and offer high-performance positioning, navigation and timing (PNT) solutions in Europe.

An ISO 9001 certified manufacturer, Septentrio stands out for its multi-frequency and multi-constellation GNSS technologies, capable of achieving centimeter precision. These solutions enable the automation of machines and help improve efficiency and safety in many sectors such as robotics, construction, topography, maritime, logistics and even drones.

Carsten Billeschou, EMEA sales director at Septentrio, highlights the evolution of the company’s model towards an approach focused on technological expertise and the creation of value through its partners, a strategy “perfectly consistent with our objectives and valuesâ€as pointed out by Xavier Gaillard, general director of Milexia.

Based in Leuven, Belgium, Septentrio has an international presence with offices in Los Angeles, Shanghai, Seoul and Yokohama. The company employs around 150 people for a turnover of around 50 million euros. Since March 2025, it has been owned by Hexagon, a Swedish industrial group which employs around 24,500 people in 50 countries and achieves a net turnover of around 5.4 billion euros.

Founded in 1971, the Milexia group, previously known as Elexience, is a European supplier of high-tech electronic components, systems and scientific instruments. The company has offices and warehouses in France, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, Germany and the Nordic countries. It also has technical centers in France and the United Kingdom, which offer customization, installation, training and maintenance solutions for the defense, space, transportation, satellite telecommunications, scientific instrumentation and various civil industries.
