Coutances Mer et Bocage is relaunching its summer camp program for 2026 after hosting 700 children in 2025. Here’s everything you need to know.
44 days in July and August
Stay for two days, a short week, for children or teens, there is something for everyone. No need to travel to the other side of the world to enjoy, the days will all be in Manche: Coutances, Gouville-sur-Mer, Cerisy-la-Salle, Hambye, Quettreville-sur-Sienne, and Saint-Sauveur-Villages.
An atmosphere far from an all-inclusive package tour. “Beyond the activities, the children and teenagers are actors of their stay: meal preparation, daily organization, evenings,” promises CMB.
Sport, music, art, or discovery
Each day of the 44 has its own special feature. For example, The Budding Musicians from 9 to 10 July. A potential first night camping in Cerisy-la-Salle for 3 to 5-year-olds, they can also discover musical instruments.
Another example, from 6 to 8 July, still in Cerisy-la-Salle but this time in an equestrian center for horse riding fans. 6-8-year-olds can ride horses, take care of them, and spend time with the animals for just over 60 for residents of the community of communes.
Last example for 11-17-year-olds: 3 days of surfing, beach, games in Barneville-Carteret from 28 to 31 July.
