Local Celebrations for St. Patrick’s Day
The traditional St. Patrick’s Day festival took place on Friday, March 27, at 8 p.m. in the Halle de Joinville square.
This St. Patrick’s Day was a success locally. Although the evening was a bit chilly for a musical performance in the Halles de Joinville square, the audience and hearts were ready to enjoy this festive moment. Two local music groups participated in this wonderful event that attracted the public.
To kick off the evening, there was a bar, a key festive spot, as well as a small food truck because food helps make a great night despite the rather cold temperature. The first group of the evening, “Forgiven,” started their concert around 8:30 p.m. with well-known songs that were popular with some listeners but not with everyone, unfortunately not creating an overly cheerful atmosphere.
However, the brewery “Le 100 Pression,” which originated the festival, was a great success, as was the food truck. Despite the cold weather, it was a good time with people in costumes and very friendly individuals engaging in conversations and human connections.
The second group of the festival, “Onstring,” more into hard rock music, continued to entertain the crowd until the end of the event around 11:30 p.m.
