Important Handball Matches for HBCA Teams

After the 34-23 defeat suffered on Saturday against Beaujolais Val de Saône, the women’s team of HBCA, currently in 4th place and therefore in the middle of the table, had to face a crucial match.

On Saturday, March 28, they hosted the 3rd place team in the pool for a significant Samauritain derby that will impact the fight for survival.

The boys step up a gear

On the boys’ side, the momentum is more positive. After their narrow but valuable 30-32 victory in the northern Ardèche derby against Tournon-Tain, they climbed one spot in the overall ranking of pool 3 to reach the 11th position. The Blues are back in form and seem to have found their path to success.

But the upcoming schedule promises to be challenging. On Sunday, March 29, Annonay will host Saint-Chamond, currently 2nd in the pool, who narrowly defeated them 29-25 in November on their home court. Fueled by their recent success, the home team knows that there is definitely a chance against a top team in the championship, and an opportunity for revenge in front of their fans.
