Watch our video filmed in June 2024:

The tinkling of tools and the sounds of period instruments immerse young and old alike in the daily life of our ancestors.

At the same time, a one-hour guided tour is offered free of charge, upon online registration via the archaeosite website. This, according to different modules depending on the interest of visitors: prehistory, the Gallo-Romans, ancient cults and beliefs, etc.

To launch this season, the site is banking on a fun and unifying activity: an escape game called “Ulysses’ Treasure”.

Organized this Saturday, April 4 afternoon, it invites families and groups of friends to slip into the world of the Odyssey. Their objective: to help the famous hero find a treasure composed mainly of chocolate eggs (it’s in season!).

But the mission will not be easy. Between riddles, challenges and encounters with mythological characters, participants will have to demonstrate speed, logic and vigilance. Some allies could buy them valuable time, while others will complicate their progress. The key for the most efficient: annual subscriptions to the site.

Accessible without reservation, the activity will take place from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., while the site and its bar area will remain open until 6 p.m. A friendly and original way to rediscover this timeless place nestled in the heart of one of the most beautiful villages in Wallonia.

Between heritage, education and entertainment, the archaeosite thus confirms its desire to make history accessible to all, young and old, by bringing it to life in the present.
