Honorary distinction: the family of the late Fodé Kanté expresses its gratitude to the President of the Republic

The family of the late Fodé Kanté expressed its deep gratitude to the President of the Republic, General Mamadi Doumbouya, following the posthumous elevation of the deceased to the rank of Commander of the Order of National Merit, by decree made public in the newspaper television from Saturday March 28, 2026.

This honorary distinction, which came one year to the day after his call to God, is perceived by those close to him as a mark of exceptional consideration from the Nation towards a man whose life was devoted to work, loyalty and public service.

The official declaration of recognition and thanks was read at the family home, located in Tombolia Plaque, in the presence of relatives, friends and members of the community who came to share this moment of tribute and gratitude.

In this message full of emotion, the Kanté family wanted to salute the act taken by the Head of State, which it considers as a solemn recognition of the journey and the values ​​embodied by the deceased.
