Zendaya’s descent into hell continues in season 3 ofEuphoria on HBO. And she might well have reached her destination, according to the trailer.
It’s been a long time coming, season 3 ofEuphoria. Announced in 2022, it was postponed, modified and gave rise to many rumors after The Idolits chaotic filming and the accusations of toxicity made against showrunner Sam Levinson. According to Variety this delay would also come from his initial idea for this sequel, which imagines the lives of his colorful characters after their studies. When it made Rue (Zendaya) a private detective, HBO reportedly decided to pause the series to better align it with previous seasons.
The other problem encountered is also, of course, the availability of the casting: Euphoria has made most of its actors very prominent Hollywood stars, who have a series of prestigious projects: Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Maude Apatow… But this third batch of episodes was indeed filmed and, after a first delivery of unpublished images, she is entitled to a three-minute mega trailer.
Euphoria no more
High school is over. Euphoria too. This long trailer gives us a glimpse into the “adult” lives of the protagonistsnot always the most brilliant. Obviously, Nate and Cassie are getting married. A press release also told us that cinematographer Marcell Réva used a new Kodak film in 35 and 65mm formats. Enough to renew the silver look which also made the series a success. The cast also includes Colman Domingo, Dominic Fike and Eric Dane, who died tragically in February 2026. Still co-produced by A24, Euphoria will therefore be back from April 13 on HBO Maxat the rate of one episode per week.
