The event coincides with important activities in March, including Ao Dai Week and the 116th anniversary of International Women’s Day, while also commemorating the 1986th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising.

According to the organizers, the contest took place from March 1st to 7th, 2026, and received 54 video submissions. Each video told a unique story, whether it was about memories between a mother and her daughter, pride in wearing the traditional Vietnamese costume (Ao Dai), or simple yet touching everyday moments.
Many videos, of high production quality both in content and form, conveyed deep humanistic messages about motherhood and family values. In particular, apart from the “mother and child” relationship, the participation of other family members enriched and diversified the contest.
The works of students from Phu Cuong Primary School, especially from classes 3A3 and 5A1, contributed to the improvement of the school curriculum. The collaboration between women’s associations, Phu Cuong Primary School, and Huong Sen Kindergarten led to the success of this contest.

More than just an artistic platform celebrating the beauty of the traditional Ao Dai costume, this contest contributes to strengthening family bonds and perpetuating enduring social values, while enhancing the beauty of the local cultural life.
