« Emmanuel Grégoire, the newly elected Mayor of Paris, wants to honor the PSG team for winning the Champions League
Élu mayor of Paris almost a week ago, Emmanuel
Grégoire would like to award decorations to the entire
PSG team for their victory in the Champions League.Â
Last Sunday, Emmanuel Grégoire was elected Mayor of
Paris. The politician supports the sale of
the Parc des Princes. After years of
disagreements due to Anne Hidalgo’s refusal to
sell the Parc des Princes to
PSG, the new elected official wants to reconnect with
the club’s leaders to discuss a possible
sale of their historic home. After being elected,
Emmanuel Grégoire received a congratulatory call
from Nasser al-Khelaïfi. In an interview with
Le Parisien, he mentioned the possibility of reopening dialogue with
the PSG and organizing an award ceremony for
the Champions League victory.Â
« I want us to build the future of the Parc des Princes together »
« The president of PSG called me on Monday morning and I was very happy with the call. I want to propose an awards ceremony for the entire team for their victory in the Champions League and invite them by summer. I want us to build the future of the Parc des Princes in Paris together, and it will be on the agenda for an exceptional meeting of the Paris Council in mid-April. I will probably go to the stadium for the PSG-Toulouse match or the showdown against Liverpool. »
